Before Artim ShellBase existed, Artim Industries itself had to manage SSH access to various servers individually, with the usual risks of scattered keys and no central overview.
Today, Artim Industries runs ShellBase in production for its own operations before it ever reaches partners and customers. This dogfooding means outages or bugs are caught by the team itself, often before they could ever reach a customer. Centralised SSH access management has replaced the previously scattered, in-house key management.

KSV previously managed members, dues, and course offerings through scattered lists and manual coordination between the people responsible. This made it hard to keep an overview and track changes in day-to-day club operations.
Artim Academy began as an informal arrangement between four people teaching courses together, with no written agreement between them and no dedicated platform to run things on.
