What it is about

A computer rarely goes bad overnight. Usually things build up over years, and at some point working on it stops being pleasant.

We first find out what is actually wrong. Sometimes that means a new drive, sometimes a clean-up is enough, and sometimes the repair is not worth it. We say so in that case too.
